2.EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS FOR BARC-RT-LEVEL - I

COURSE MINIMUM QUALIFICATION METHODS EXPERIENCE
BIS IS 13805 12TH Standard with Physics as one of the subject or Diploma in Engg. / Degree in Science RT Minimum 6 Months as Trainee radiographer (with TLD Badge with approval letter from AERB for trainee radiographer)

For the above requirements, candidates should produce necessary documentary evidence as a proof to the satisfactory of ISNT and appointed Examiner.

Note

1. The course fees is inclusive of Course Materials, Snacks and Coffee/Tea during the Course and Examination Days.
2. Examination fees of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) is included in the Course fees.
3. ISNT members are eligible for a concession of Rs. 500/- on each course which they undertake.
4. Venue-Theory Examination will be held at ISNT-Trichy Chapter premises. Practical demonstrations & Examinations will be held at NDTL/BHEL, Trichy.
5. All dates are tentative only. Participants are requested to confirm the exact date with ISNT/Trichy.
6. Following are to be enclosed by the candidate while submitting the application for the courses. 1 Passport size Photograph for each course/NDT method. Eye fitness certificate from the Employer/A Level-III/Ophthalmologist certifying for minimum of J2 on a standard Jaeger Chart and Ishihara charts for color blindness as per the certification scheme requirements (SNT-TC-1A as applicable). Photostat Copies of the certificates for Educational Qualification, Experience certificate from the present employer or Self-declaration certificate vetted by the client to whom they do the service, in the case of private NDT Practitioners.

Reporting time on first day of the course is 09:00 AM for registration. Course commences at 10.00 AM. On every day the candidates shall bring their own non programmable Scientific Calculator.

Payment

The mode of payment will be either by cash or local cheque or EFT or DD in favor of “ISNT Tiruchirappalli Chapter” payable at Tiruchirappalli. Out station Cheque shall not be accepted.The examination fees and course fees should be paid before the commencement of courses.

From 9.00am to 5.00pm during Training days
Examination schedule (Theory and practical) will be declared a day before the examination day.

The course material will be issued in advance for those candidates, who have paid the course fee in full or whose cheque for course fee in full is realized on or before 15 days of the commencement date of the course. For other candidates the course material will be issued on the day of registration.

Candidates have to arrange accommodation on their own.

Candidates should make their own arrangements to report at the venue of the course. City buses from Chathiram Bus stand to BHEL and Tanjore buses flying from Central Bus stand to BHEL are available frequently.

ISNT-TRICHY CHAPTER has a practice of sending the examination results to the successful candidates immediately after the declaration of the results by the examiner. Later, certificates will be sent to successful candidates by speed post/courier. At any circumstances, status of result or any information regarding the examination will not be intimated over phone.

The NDT certificates will be renewed if the certificate holder is fulfilling the following:-
a) Valid ISNT membership on the date of renewal.
b) Certificate Holder shall fulfill all the renewal requirements stated in the certificate scheme (SNT-TC-1A) for renewal i.e., Eye certificate, Continuity Certificate etc...
c) Required renewal fee in the form of EFT or Demand Draft in favor of ISNT Trichy Chapter. The renewed certificate shall be sent from the ISNT office by Post /Courier to the address specified by the candidate or his sponsor.
